Liberty Church, Swinton, was formerly known as Zion Gospel Mission. In 2016 the church approached Liberty Church, Rotherham, and asked for help and support to relaunch.
“Here at Liberty Church we were delighted to be given an opportunity to begin to support and invest in the work in Swinton and The Dearne Valley.
We recognise and honour the immense influence and impact that previous generations of Christians have made in the community.
We really believed that this is our moment to pick up the baton and continue to bring hope, joy and peace to the local communities.
We are delighted to be able to release some of our best leaders and workers from Liberty Rotherham to Liberty Swinton. We highly recommend John and Kirsty along with the team, who will bring passion and vision to the work in the area, and we are expecting amazing things.
